The Magic of Believing
These three little words embody a concept so powerful, so liberating, so effective that if it could be bottled and sold everybody would be clamouring for it.
Try this...
Say the phrase you prefer slowly, several times, to yourself - in your head or out loud:
"The Magic of Believing"
"The Magic of Belief"
As you articulate the words you will actually be affecting what is going on in your mind.
Feeding your subconscious mind
Give your mind an inspiring axiom like "The Magic of Belief" and it will probably make you feel good immediately on a conscious level. But the magic comes as it goes into your subconscious and privately works wonders, affecting your thinking, your outlook, your very self.
A healthy body needs good wholesome food. A healthy self needs positive input to the mind. Continually...
What would you like to achieve?
Let's rephrase that (for at a very deep level you will begin to accept that belief is magic and will empower you):
What would you like to BELIEVE you can achieve?
- To make a change in your circumstances?
- To change something about yourself?
- To follow a dream?
How?
Tell yourself that you intend to do it, that you can do it, that you will do it. Repeat, repeat, repeat - and say it as if you mean it. This is more food for your subconscious - and (for you are training yourself to believe in belief) this is how it will work:
- You plant the belief
- This belief creates positive, meaningful thoughts
- These thoughts will inspire you to get up and do something... and
- ...all of a sudden you'll find you have a passion
- This passion spurs you on further and...
- ...you feel truly alive
Magic
Your face will light up as the beauty of your inspiration shines through; smiles appear; more postive things are drawn to you; you're running high on energy and satisfaction.
A whole new chapter in your life will open. You've created your own magic.
Reality check
Despite great excitement about what you want to do, you may feel some nervousness. Don't worry, that's normal.
All sorts of ideas will pop into your head about the way forward.
Look out for the parrot sitting on your shoulder trying to block your inspiration by saying "no" to all the ifs and buts that are likely to creep in. These will disappear if your belief is strong enough.
Keep strengthening your belief by feeding your mind positive assertions:
"I can" "I shall"
Down to you
Each of us has different wants and needs. Only we ourselves know what they are; only we can achieve them. No-one else can do this for us.
We may have to work hard at it, or it may take time, but...
it will be worth the effort.
you can do it if you believe you can.
you will believe it if you keep telling yourself you can -
and keep reminding yourself of the magic of believing
