Happy New Year from Runik!

Send us a message! First of all, thanks to you for supporting the club so well over the last year. If you’ve got any ideas that you’d like us to introduce over the next twelve months (not including pole dancers and alcohol!) then please let us know – anything that expands the membership of the club is good.

Something else we'd like feedback about is the effectiveness of our newsletter – let us know if you like, dislike it or just completely ignore it!

The Nozzas

As you can see we’ve spared no expense on the trophies for this first year but there is a prize for the Sportsmanship Award to spend at the shop. So if you haven’t won this year you can start winning people over for next year!

Prize Draw

Last month's draw was won by Callum Rednall - he wins Elves vs. Goblins. And this month - with the release of Morningtide only a (seemingly eternal) three weeks away, the give-away is five Boosters from the new set! Just click here to enter...

Warmachine

'A Call to Arms' is a new league for Warmachine players starting at Bury Wargamers on 12th Jan and then running once every two weeks up there. The League is run as individuals and teams on a ladder system - so to get more points, beat someone higher up than you! There are badges for playing, and pins for winning players and teams.

Points are to be agreed by both players and the format is one on one. You'll find more info on the Bury Wargamers Blog at http://burywargamers.blogspot.com/. See you there!

Morningtide

The new release of Magic - Morningtide - is in store on Friday 1st Feb, and the big pre-release tournament is at the 24th Ipswich Scout Hall on Sunday 20th Jan.

This will be your first chance to get your hands on the new cards - as usual registration is from noon, and the tournament starts at 1pm. Entry on the day is £15, which gets you one Lorwyn Tournament Pack plus three Morningtide boosters and a shiny rare foil promo! Entry is limited to 60 players - so if you can't get there early be sure to pre-book your place by emailing Symon with your name and DCI number.

There will also be a promotional offer from Wizards of the Coast - pre-order your box of Morningtide boosters from Runik Games at the pre-release and they will give you six free Morningtide boosters when you collect your box! The same fantastic offer as Lorwyn! Boxes are only £62.50, thats 42 boosters for only £62.50!

Single Card Sale

This February and March Runik Games will be having a singles sale - whenever you buy £20 or more on singles we'll knock 20% off of the price!

Yu-Gi-Oh Hobby League

There is an offer on at the moment for the Saturday afternoon Hobby League - introduce a friend to the club and when they play in their second Hobby League tournament both you and your friend will receive a free booster each from the newest set! Offer is open indefinitely - and only to new players or players returning after more than a year away.

And finally - Ludicrus!

Yeti sports have taken over at Ludicrus with all nine games now online, including the very frustrating Jungle Swing. So come online, register and play!

Also there is a competition for Introducing the most friends to the website - you can win a £50 voucher to spend in Runik Games!

And finally, the forums are starting to get busy - so get online and have your voice heard. What tournaments do you want to play at Ludicrus, which traders do you want (and what else have you got on your mind right now?)
